ENTSO-E TYNDP Platform
At CampusTech we developed the ENTSO-E TYNDP Platform to support the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) in its mission to plan and develop Europe’s long-term electricity infrastructure. The platform is part of the Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP) and helps identify critical infrastructure investment needs to build a sustainable and reliable energy system across Europe.
Project Overview:
The platform integrates data from project promoters applying to be a part of the Ten-Year Network Development Plan gathers and validates all the technical and administrative data from them and allows effective management of the data.
Key Features:
- Data Collection: Collection of all the relevant technical and administrative data from the electricity infrastructure promoting entities, validating their eligibility to be part of European Ten-Year Network Development Plan.
- Data Integration: Combines information from various TSOs across Europe, providing a transparent view of the electricity network, data related to the system needs studies performed by ENTSO-E.
- Data Visualization: Visualizes the electricity configuration of the projects at the ENTSO-E map, gives details on the results of the project modelling and assessment. Helps key stakeholders to make key investment decisions into energy infrastructure at the pan-European perimeter and beyond.
- User Management: Helps to effectively communicate with the energy infrastructure promoting entities by ENTSO-E and manage acesses to certain information among the plartform users.
Impact:
The ENTSO-E TYNDP Platform plays a vital role in planning future grid developments, supporting decision-makers with the insights needed to make informed investments that strengthen Europe’s electricity infrastructure.
